Founded on the 3rd of October 2019, the Society for FamilyCare Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political Organisation with the primary objective of making significant impact in our immediate community and beyond. Our core focus is on the FAMILY, and our goal is to provide families with the basic needs that will enable them to remain self-sufficient in the immediate and foreseeable future, accordingly, we set out with the following objectives in mind
Let us go forward in this battle fortified by conviction that those who labour in the service of a great and good cause will never fail.
Problem Statement
The spate of poverty in Nigeria is at an all time high, added to these are the effects of the pandemic which presents a further alarming situation, one that is best imagined than experienced. As such, prior to the outbreak of the covid19 pandemic, it is no coincidence that Nigeria has the highest number of people living in poverty.
The Solution
In the wake of such incredible and unprecedented times as stated above, the Society for FamilyCare seeks to provide a springboard for a thriving society. We seek to assist individuals and families to be catalyst of positive communal changes.
Our Approach
Having recognised these individuals and families, we adopt and apply the following measures to bridge the gap: A personalised and ONE-ON-ONE approach of identifying individuals and families in need as a means of proffering specific solution to each individual or family.
The 1% Contribution Initiative
For Individuals and families to live purpose-driven lives, everyone ought to seek to improve not just themselves, their direct relatives, and friends but consciously seek to improve their immediate society, even in the slightest of ways. This is the thinking behind our “1% of something is better than 100% of nothing” campaign.
